<strong>Location:</strong> Austin, TX<br /><strong>Description:</strong><br /> <p>We are looking for a versatile Web/ Front-End Developer to join our team to work on exciting new development projects. The position will be filled on a contract to hire basis with the project lasting a minimum of 12 months. </p> <p><span class="caps">ESSENTIAL</span> FUNCTIONS: <br /> The web developer will work as a team member in the engineering organization to implement the user interface layers. which include javascript and css. </p> <p><span class="caps">KEY</span> RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> •Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and marketing to gather and understand customer needs to create the most effective and user-friendly customer interface possible. <br /> •Work with developers throughout the product development, testing and implementation phases to ensure user interface integrity and functionality. <br /> •Propose creative ideas to meet new product goals. <br /> •Manage, track and report on schedules and key milestones in the development process. <br /> •Create great apps. </p> <p><span class="caps">KNOWLEDGE</span> <span class="caps">AND</span> EXPERIENCE: <br /> •3+ years experience in UI development <br /> •Experience designing user interfaces for web-based applications is critical. <br /> •Experience with php and or other server side languages (C#, java etc, <span class="caps">ROR</span>..) <br /> •Portfolio with online examples of work is a plus. <br /> •HTML/CSS/JavaScript development <br /> •Develop interactive prototypes using js libraries <br /> •Develop <span class="caps">AJAX</span> modules <br /> •Understanding of HTML/<span class="caps">CSS</span> and Web 2.0 principles <br /> •Experience using <span class="caps">DHTML</span> and <span class="caps">AJAX</span> to enhance the user experience <br /> •A strong understanding of modern web practices to create an efficient user-experience and clean code <br /> •Good use and familiarity of javascript libraries such as Jquery, Mootools, and ExtJS <br /> •Comfortable working with photoshop to do slices and markup </p> <p>COMPENSATION: <br /> $55-65,000 <span class="caps">PER</span> <span class="caps">YEAR</span> based on experience <br /> Options for benefits once an employee <br /> Hours are flexible </p><br /><br /><a href="http://jobs.jsninja.com/job/468/front-end-engineer-stable-job-and-good-pay-at-quotient/">Apply to this job</a><br /> 2009-03-16T19:13:11-0700 3449 http://javascript.jobmotel.com/jobs/3449 2009-03-08T16:48:56-0700 2009-03-16T19:13:11-0700
