IRIAN Solutions GmbH is a Vienna, Austria based company that develops innovative solutions, usually web-applications, for small to large enterprises, using either JavaServer Faces or a host of other innovative, new web technologies and web-frameworks. IRIAN is also venturing into the field of Web 2.0 applications, both with Apache MyFaces and certain other IRIAN products, e.g our online mind-mapping tool named mind42.com.
IRIAN is searching a skilled and experienced front-end developer to expand the Web 2.0 applications team.

Required technical skills and background: – Comprehension of HTML and CSS in classical valid ways as well as beyond the standards – Deep knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, DOM and connected technologies like AJAX and Comet – A minimum of two years software development experience – Good OO understanding – Interest in the latest “cutting-edge” web technologies
Bonus skills: – Java web application development skills – Familiarity with the User Centered Design process – Familiarity with the SCRUM methodology and ready to be part of an Agile team – Familiarity with one or more JavaScript Frameworks (Dojo, jQuery, ...) – Experience with graphical APIs (Canvas, SVG, VML, Cairo, ...) beneficial – Diversity: From graphic design skills to DB administration to shell scripting to … everything is welcome since you are going to be part of a labs-oriented team
