Job Description

We are looking for a javascript expert who can bring strong expertise in building core javascript framework critical to the company’s success. This is a rare opportunity to work with a team that has an unusually successful track record with consumer facing products, and own responsibility for the central component of a new and innovative product.

As a key member in the Billeo Team, you’ll help develop the future of software. Your powerful JavaScript libraries and applications will assist ordinary users in new ways which makes Billeo irresistible to the user. You have an opportunity to lead us in

• creating well-organized, easy-to-use software tools, APIs, and libraries that will be part of the core platform for Billeo
• building application software that demonstrates Billeo ‘s capabilities

• developing new ways to deliver web software services via a browser plugin.

Requirements

• Expert programming experience using advanced JavaScript.
• Experience designing and creating software libraries, APIs, and tools.
• Experience developing Javascript plugins on top of existing ones like jQuery.
• Hand-code DOM-based, object-oriented, unobtrusive Java Script
• Expert Knowledge of JavaScript scope, closure, AJAX, XMLHttpRequest, XML.
• Expert knowledge of browser DOM and cross-browser issues.
• Clear understanding of the various Browser events and event bubbling.
• Experience working on Firefox or Google Chrome Addons is a definite plus.
• Interest in developing innovative, ground-breaking software.
• Self-motivated, critical thinker with a strong technical background.
• Curiosity, imagination, intuition. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Atleast 4 years of Software development experience
• Atleast 2+ years of focused javascript development in the recent past.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines

• Would request code samples to see proficiency in javascript.
