TagMan is a JavaScript content management system that advertisers use to deploy 3rd party tags (essentially code snippets) into their web pages, client-side. We are revolutionising the way data flows between companies in the online advertising ecosystem.
Since winning the Econsultancy.com innovation award in 2008, the company has gone from strength to strength and has an impressive global client base that includes Virgin Atlantic, Boden, Moneysupermarket.com and Thomas Cook.
Our unique applications are are years ahead of the competitors and we’re looking for a bright, motivated and talented JavaScript developer to build the generation of our framework, which includes a number of exciting new features.
You will lead the development, maintenance and support of the companies JavaScript assets and frameworks, which form a number of the core functional components of the product. This will include:
\u2022 Design, development and maintenance of the companies advanced JavaScript libraries
\u2022 Solving problems at the cutting edge of JavaScript development
\u2022 Hands on development as well as delegating work to external development resources
\u2022 Writing and administering JavaScript unit tests and testing frameworks
\u2022 Planning and implementation of JavaScript deployment and testing frameworks
Essential Experience:
\u2022 3 years software development experience including extensive JavaScript in the last 12 months
\u2022 Excellent JavaScript knowledge including cross browser issues
\u2022 AJAX development
\u2022 Use of source control platforms,
\u2022 JavaScript unit testing
\u2022 Experience developing robust and efficient code for large scale production applications
\u2022 Good appreciation of software development best practice
Preferred Experience:
\u2022 Experience of automated build and deployment tools
\u2022 Bookmarklet development
\u2022 Agile development (SCRUM)
\u2022 Exposure to JsUnit, JsLint, YUI Compressor
\u2022 Exposure to mootools, prototype, scriptaculous, jquery)
This role is based in London and not suitable for remote working. You will be based in our London Bridge office with great opportunities to learn in an exciting environment.
