[full-time] UI/Web Application Developer at Financial Services
Description:
Technology-driven financial services company is developing a new-generation online investing platform and is seeking a UI/Web Application Developer to join its development group.
In this newly created position you’ll work with a team of programmers and product managers to build and maintain high-speed data networks, idea-generation, decision-support, execution and account management web-based tools and systems.
The position will report to senior management on an on-going basis and will interface with fellow development and program team members on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include:
Integrate high-speed data networks, execution and account management systems into a comprehensive online trading platform
Translate functional specifications into workable, deployable concepts
Work collaboratively with product managers, programming team, and outside vendors to implement mission-critical systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 3 years of web development experience
Required experience with: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, Silverlight (XAML), HTML, CSS, SQL 2005 and 2008
Desired Skills:
Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and within an interactive team environment
C++, FIX, Telerik, MSMQ, UI development experience
